The objectives of the ECT (Y1+2) conference is to:
- Develop a network of Hampshire based early career teachers in MFL as a means of supporting them through the early stages of their career and potentially beyond.
- Provide support to our early career teachers in MFL, particularly those joining departments and schools that are small and less well led or mentored.
- Maximise the impact of the expertise offered by the three HIAS MFL advisers.
- Provide Early Career Teachers with relevant, up-to-date subject specific CPD and support the outcomes of learners across the county.
- Provide Early Career Teachers with the opportunity to reflect on their first year (or two) in their new role and consider their next steps.
