  Primary MFL Conference 2025 6 November 2025 Keyword Search: MFL Conference The objectives of the Primary MFL Conference are to:  Build on the CPD offered through our primary network meetings (2024-25).  Provide primary MFL subject leads with relevant, up-to-date subject specific CPD and support the outcomes of learners across the county.  Provide bespoke and targeted support for those new to leading MFL.  Consider use of AI.  Allow teachers time to share ideas and current practice.  Strengthen the network of MFL subject leaders across the county.  Price: Sub £145 / SLA £80 / Full £174

  Autumn Term 2025

  Secondary MFL Line Manager (Webinar) 25-26 9 October 2025 Keyword Search: MFL Manager This webinar is aimed at SLT members with a limited background in MFL teaching who will be line managing heads of MFL during 2025-6. The main objective of this session is to ensure that line managers are aware of the key ingredients required to lead a successful languages department. This will enable them to support and challenge subject leaders in the delivery of a successful MFL curriculum in their context.  Price: Sub £70 / SLA £55 / Full £84

  Secondary MFL Conference 2025 13 November 2025 Keyword Search: Secondary MFL The objectives of the Secondary MFL Conference are to:  Build on the CPD offered through our secondary network meetings 2023-24.  Deliver training from exam boards.  Facilitate better links between HIAS and HODs to further improve attendance at future meetings.  Develop relationships in order to facilitate opportunities for subject support visits.  Allow HODs time to share ideas and current practice.  Provide the opportunity to discuss and act on guidance from exam boards on the new GCSE.    Explore ways to make languages accessible to all through the curriculum and cultural context.  Price: Sub £145 / SLA £60 / Full £174

  Spring 25-26 Secondary MFL Network 5 March 2026 Keyword Search: Spring MFL The primary aims of the subject network meetings are to:  Ensure a clear understanding of the national picture and its application in local and school contexts.  Support effective subject leadership as appropriate to each school’s individual context.  Develop skills, expertise and capacity within school subject leaders and their teams through quality strategic CPD and the sharing of good practice.  Deepen understanding of subject specific pedagogy and knowledge that underpins good progress and attainment for ALL pupils.  Facilitate school to school networking and develop strength across the system.  Common agenda items for these meetings:  Development of subject specific knowledge and an understanding of strong progression and sequencing.  Enhancing subject leadership.  Structuring Key Stage 4 to ensure pupils are well prepared for the next phase of their education.  Providing high quality Key Stage 3 provision that builds successfully on Key Stage 2.  Ensuring all pupils, including the most vulnerable (SEN and PP) are able to make excellent progress.  Sharing good practice and work.  Project work and other CPD opportunities and networks will continue and will evolve in line with needs  Price: Sub £60 / SLA £40 / Full £72
